Before Using Utilities to Diagnose Storage Performance you need to make sure of the following:

• Instance volume for which testing is being performed is not loaded third-party applications or operating system.

• The volume under test is not a member of the RAID array disk group.

• At the time of testing, the system is not provisioning or installing OS updates.
