Resource management

In the description of resource management processes in SIM-Cloud, the term “project” is used as a key concept, denoting a top-level entity that includes a set (pool) of resources leased under one contract. Moreover, one client can work with several projects.

Resource Pool

The resources available for ordering in the cloud are offered in the form of a “constructor” of computing cores (vCPU), random access memory (vRAM), two types of disk space (cs1 and gs1), networks (IP addresses, subnets, routers), firewalls and VPN-connections. The ability to pick is available in the online order form on the website (for new customers) and in the control panel (for users). Project management is carried out in the control panel. Moving from project to project requires switching within a single panel.
